I love my kids and wouldn’t trade them but what would it be like if they didn’t consume my best brain cells each morning.

A time will come when the house will be empty and the kids off to lead their own lives. I will probably be sad then, but for now, it's a fantasy worth entertaining on some days. 🙂

I bet, you have a little one, too! I wish I could say they take less energy as they get older. It’s different but they find new ways to drain you. 😆
You do eventually get more sleep though, which is a relief
It will pay back once they have children. Then you can point at them and say "Ha Ha!". And it will be worth it. Not a parent but an uncle with a cute grand nephew.
It gets better! When they’re teenagers they will consume all your brain cells at *just* the moment you’re trying to go to bed but you won’t hear a thing out of them in the mornings
