Twitter/X just keeps getting worse. I can’t write anything in their web UI because it regularly eats the draft and I have to start over.
(If you’re wondering why I bother, I have a business audience that I just can’t reach elsewhere.)

@wood isn’t that audience mostly gone anymore? When I look at tweets from Ruby community members their engagement numbers are pitiful, often less than mastodon numbers.

@getajobmike sort of, but that hasn't been my entire experience. There's still a pretty active core of users, mostly Rails devs and Indie Hacker types and people in the wider tech industry. What you're describing sounds more like the OG Ruby community, who have mostly had the good sense to leave.
